Owners Kam and Harold started the company in December 1994 with the vision to develop a company that focused on solving customers’ engineering problems. Neither was interested in building just another company. Both were committed to building a company that had a strong foundation and a culture that would attract and retain passionate, highly skilled and energetic people and customers would want to have on their team.  A company that would awe others with their quality of work and their unwavering commitment to helping their customers succeed.

Things did not happen overnight for SGT. There were a lot of long hours, years of shoe string budgets and some tough proposal losses. Yet the energy and commitment of Kam, Harold and their consistently growing number of employees paid off. Now over 15 years later, SGT with over 1500 employees, has successfully graduated the 8(a) program and gained critical acclaim by being honored with many prestigious awards and recognitions nationwide.
