Owners Kam and Harold started the company in December 1994 with the vision to develop a company that focused on solving customers’ engineering problems. Neither was interested in building just A company. Both were committed to building a company that had a strong foundation and a culture that would attract and retain passionate, highly skilled and energetic people.  One that customers would want to have on their team and would be in awe of the quality of the work and the unwavering commitment they had received from SGT.

Things didn’t happen overnight for SGT. There was a lot of long hours, years of shoe string budgets and some tough proposal loses. Yet the energy and commitment of Kam, Harold and all of the employees of SGT paid off. Now over 13 years later, the company has successfully graduated the 8(a) program, grown to over 1500 employees and been honored with many prestigious awards and recognitions.
