Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies (SGT), was founded in 1994 by Harold Stinger, Chairman of the Board, and Dr. Kam Ghaffarian, President and CEO. The company is headquartered in Greenbelt, Maryland with locations throughout the country. We are dedicated to customer satisfaction and providing high quality support in the areas of Engineering, Science, Project Management and Information Technology. SGT IT Infrastructure is ISO/IEC 20000-1:2005 and CMMI Level 3 certified. We support substantial contracts for various government agencies including NASA, DoD, NOAA, USGS, and USAID. We also maintain strong affiliations and active partnerships with companies throughout the nation and work to Achieve Results and Exceed Expectations.

Since we opened our doors in December 1994, SGT has been extremely blessed. We have grown from a staff comprised of the two of us to over 1500 employees located nationwide. We have been given opportunities to support cutting edge projects and to be involved in history making science ventures; also, we have been intimately involved in the successful resolution of major engineering challenges in collaboration with our government customers. Our list of awards is extensive and includes NASA’s highest award for performance.
