Stinger Ghaffarian Technologies (SGT, Inc.) President and CEO Chosen as Finalist for GovCon Executive of the Year
Greenbelt, MD USA - SGT, Inc., a leading provider of Science, Engineering, IT, and Program Management Services, today announced that President and CEO, Kam Ghaffarian, has been named a finalist for the GovCon Executive of the Year.
The Fairfax Chamber of Commerce's Northern Virginia Government Contractors Council (GovCon), the Publishers of Washington Technology Magazine, and the Professional Services Council, in conjunction with a host of sponsors, announced the finalists for the 6th Annual GovCon Awards at a reception on the evening of September 9, 2009. The Gov Con awards are an opportunity to honor innovative and successful government contractors and executives who are making an impact. Finalists and winners are chosen by a panel of highly regarded industry and government leaders.
As a finalist Kam Ghaffarian is being recognized for the leadership and contributions he has made to the company, the government contracting community and the impact of his contributions to the local and national community.
The recipient of the award will be announced at a gala event on November 4, 2009.
